Congratulations Laura!

We would like to congratulate Laura Vander Kley for her recent promotion to head nurse. Laura is very active in ensuring our high standards of patient care are maintained or exceeded. She is a vital part of our team and we are sure she will be brilliant in her new role.

Laura graduated from Unitec with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She is passionate about every aspect of her job but has a special interest in radiography and anaesthetics. Laura is continually advancing her education and recently attended an anaesthetic course. Subsequently she has implemented new up-to-date protocols for caring for your pets under general anaesthetic.

Laura is also our puppy preschool co-ordinator and ensures our classes are full of excited puppy’s ready to play!

Wag n Walk - Dog walk & fun day!

The Warehouse petplan Wag ' n Walk is a fun day for the whole family, especially the dog!  There will be plenty to see and do including the 3km fun walk, face painting, bouncy castles and competitions for you and your dog. Competitions include cutest dog, youngest dog, oldest dog, shortest dog, tallest dog, fastest dog and best dog trick. There is a competition for everyone!

You don't have to have a dog to attend. Your entry helps raise money for Paw Justice

Paw Justice is a charitable organisation formed to help deal with the problem of animal abuse and neglect.

This years wag 'n walk will be held at the Auckland Domain, 3rd December 2011.
