MAF Registered Pet Transporter

We are a Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) registered pet transporter and with the advantage of our veterinarians on site, we are able to assist you with all of your pet export requirements, from vaccinations, blood tests and micro-chipping through to the provision of export certificates and travel arrangements.

Vet Checks

A vet check is mandatory prior to the export of any animal. 

Transportation 

NZ legislation also states that members of the public are no longer able to privately arrange transport for their pets through an airline, and must use an approved pet transport operator. 

When to call us 

Flight arrangements and some procedures, for example blood screens, need to be taken care of well in advance, often more than 6 months of the export date. Make sure to be in touch with us here at the Greenlane Veterinary Clinic as soon as possible after the decision has been made to make your pet an international traveller. Knowing the requirements and preparations have all been taken care of will help to minimise your stress at this busy time.
