Justine Alley is our senior veterinary surgeon. She previously worked as a first opinion vet in a Small Animal 24-hour Specialist Referral Hospital in Johannesburg where she gained valuable experience in both medicine and surgery.

She is absolutely loving Auckland and cannot get enough of the ocean after living inland for so long! In her spare time Justine enjoys entertaining, gardening, kayaking, cycling, walking her dog, and swimming.
She has a passion for surgery, diagnostic imaging, anaesthetics and emergency medicine. She has done post graduate studies in Anaesthesiology and Radiology and has just started an intensive year-long online surgery course with the University of Sydney.

Helen rejoined the Greenlane Vet team in July 2008, after spending two years working in Britain. She gained valuable experience as a locum in the UK but is glad to be home. She is a true Kiwi at heart!
Helen lives in One Tree Hill with her three cats, Poppy, Pearl, and Harwich. In her spare time she enjoys decorating, gardening, walks in Cornwall park and cycling.
She has a passion for all fields of veterinary medicine and has recently done further studies in Diagnostic Techniques, Clinical Pathology and Electrocardiograms. She has done some very creative in-house training on these subjects with the vets and nurses. She was instrumental in helping us to gain the Best Practice accreditation and has now set about to get our online ordering of stock for the clinic up and running.

Steph is the newest addition to our team of Veterinary Surgeons. She graduated from Massey University in 2003 and has recently worked in various practices throughout the UK and Australia. Luckily for us, she decided it was time to return home to NZ, and joined us at Greenlane Veterinary Centre in December 2010.
Professional interests for Dr Bonner include ultra-sonography, radiology, ophthalmology and rehabilitation. Currently studying for her Master of Veterinary Medicine through Massey, Steph is an extremely committed Veterinarian and has brought a lot of exciting ideas to our practice.
Steph brought her lovely cat Sammy back with her from Australia and they have both settled well into the Auckland lifestyle. In her spare time Steph loves kayaking, mountain biking, camping, travelling and visiting family and friends. |

Laura has graduated from Unitec with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She has already proved herself as a valuable member of the healthcare team at Greenlane. She has a passion for almost everything nursing related, especially radiography and anaesthetics. She has recently taken on the responsibilty of organising the puppy socialisation classes and has come up with some very good ideas to improve these classes.
In her spare time, she enjoys looking after her car, 'Sargent' , very well, listening to music, and playing with her pets. She is very pleased to have completed her diploma but we wouldn't be surprised if she continues her studies in some way or other.

Courtney has been a vet nurse for 4 years working in Auckland. She enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a soft spot for pocket pets and enjoys surgery. At home Courtney cares for a family of ‘Snoop Dogg’ the cat, ‘Oreo’ the rabbit,’ Coruba’ the geriatric german shepherd (don’t tell Coruba she is geriatric!) and various birds. When not busy with this array of animals, Courtney and her partner enjoy kayaking, fishing and camping, when it’s not raining of course!
Courtney has a keen interest in Veterinary post-op rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Watch this space as new skills and services develop!

Valerie started working in the practice as a receptionist in 1982. After completing a diploma in business management at the University of Auckland, she was promoted to practice manager.
Valerie's hobbies include Toastmasters, reading and walking/tramping and she also loves travelling to Australia and Asia to visit extended family.
Valerie has been instrumental in promoting and overseeing the many changes at Greenlane Veterinary Centre in recent years. Principally the major renovations and the achievement of accreditation which is quite a milestone. Renovations in the boarding cattery were started last year and will be ongoing throughout this year.
She is very keen to see staff pursue continuing education and further qualifications.
